$377,116Deveronvale Perfection

In 2009 a ram called Deveronvale Perfection was sold to British farmer Jimmy Douglas of Fraserburgh’s Woodhead of Cairness Farm who said he was the most perfect ram he'd ever seen and just had to have him. The February-born tup lamb was bred by embryo transfer and is the offspring of one of the breed's leading tups, Kelso Oxygen, and a champion ewe named Knock Magnum. While the price is high, Douglas is likely to turn a profit after breeding and selling the semen around the world. The sheep was bred in Banffshire and sold at the Texel ram sale in Lanark for a price of £231,000 on 28 August 2009.
Deveronvale Perfection is not shown on the image, these are different Texel sheep.
