$13,000Graf von Faber-Castell Perfect Pencil Limited Edition 1761-2001

This limited edition of luxury pencil maker Graf von Faber-Castell went up for sale in 2001 for €10,000 a piece. Only 99 pencils were made of this pencil that celebrated 240 years of business for the company.
The pencils were made from 240 year old olive wood and contained an 18-carat white gold extender with an eraser and pencil sharpener. The coat of arms on the extender was underlined with 3 diamonds to mark the 3rd millennium. While it's obviously a beautiful and high quality pencil, it would just be a waste to use it, since there will be a time you'll have to throw it away!
